In my Science of Consciousness course at Maharishi International University, we were assigned to create some sort of art piece to represent our experience with the course. Since part of the homework in this course was to practice transcendental meditation twice a day, it became a springboard for not only this part of my education but of my general development.

We are taught that our consciousness is like an ocean, with full wakefulness being like the surface of the ocean, and the deeper we go into meditation, the deeper we go into the vast ocean.
