Go Indigo (2009) from Seven Seasons EP

Honestly, this song could easily be titled Trauma Bonding & Alcohol-fueled Relationship Drama. It’s taken me a while since I released my EP, Seven Seasons, to be able to pay enough attention to this song to type out the lyrics and really remember everything that happened at that point in life. I am grateful for the knowledge that I gleaned, I am grateful for recovery and sobriety, I am grateful to be the me that I am today because of it, and I’m really grateful for this song because I still think it’s a solid pop song.

And let’s hear it for Cari’s guitar playing skills! She really is so amazing and I wish I could find her. Please enjoy me with dyed black hair, black liquid eyeliner, and chestal implants lol. 🖤

Cari and I formed a duo called Grapes Of Jade and played around San Diego in 2009. This song was recorded in the bathtub of my apartment in the building I managed in Hillcrest for several years. Good times! 🌈☀️🏝️
